I have been working with Macintosh computers since 1986, the year that the Macintosh Plus hit the market. During that time, I have worked with several system releases, the first HyperCard, the first QuickTime (post-stamp-sized movies), iTunes and iPhoto. I have come to understand this platform intimately. One of the challenges faced by many companies today is how to integrate their Macintosh workstations with their PC-based networks. Coming from a background in the commercial printing industry, I have had to tackle this issue head-on and develop sometimes elaborate but oftentimes simple methods for getting Windows and Macintosh to work in harmony. A lot of IT departments refuse to “touch” Macintosh. I love Macintosh. |
